Round 4 (116): Tay Gowan, CB UCF

The Giants addressed their need for a number two corner by signing Adoree’ Jackson in free agency but still need depth behind him, making UCF’s Tay Gowan a logical fit in round four.

Gowan is a 6-foot-2 corner who opted out of the 2020 season to prepare for the draft. While on the field in 2019, he was a shutdown corner for the Knights as he picked off two passes and deflected eight passes.

While he does not have any film from last season, he’s been dubbed a potential “X-Factor” and a potential mid-round steal well, making him worth the gamble for the Giants.
