1. Tanaka’s complete game shutout (2018)

Easily the top Yankees moment at Tropicana Field in the Boone era came on July 24, 2018, when Masahiro Tanaka completely shut down the Rays offense.

The Yankees right-hander tossed a complete game shutout that saw him strike out nine rays, walk just one and give up only three hits as he finished off Tampa on just 105 pitches.

Meanwhile, at the plate, the Yankees gave the Rays plenty of run-support. Didi Gregorius plated Gardner in the top of the first with a ground ball, in the top of the fifth, an Austin Romine ground ball plated Tyler Wade and in the top of the seventh hit a sac-fly and in the ninth, Neil Walker delivered an RBI single as the Yankees secured a 4-0 win.

Final: Yankees 4, Rays, 0
