In the seventy-seventh episode of Unhinged Talk, the team discusses the Yankees recent signing of catcher Robinson Chirinos.
Monday was a very active day for the Yankees on the free agency front as they signed Justin Wilson and Robinson Chirinos. With Chirinos signing a minor league contract with the club, it is likely he will be the third-string option behind Kyle Higashioka. While many Yankees fans may not like him for his comments about Yankees fans a couple of years ago, Gerrit Cole is definitely comfortable pitching to him. In 68.2 innings pitched with Chirinos as his catcher, Cole sported a 1.57 ERA with 114 strikeouts and 11 walks.
