Loser: Gary Sanchez

No Yankee has gotten off to a worse start in 2020 than catcher Gary Sanchez. Sanchez has started four games behind the plate and appeared in all five and has yet to record a hit and only reached base once after being hit by a pitch Thursday.

To make matters worse, Sanchez has struck out 10 times and left 10 runners on base. He has gotten off to a solid start in the field, not committing an error and allowing just one passed-ball, but his bat has been ice cold.

In order for the Yankees to make a deep playoff run, they’ll need Sanchez’s bat to heat up and early on, it has shown no signs of life.
