Washington Nationals

Matchups: July 23, July 25-26 in Washington D.C.

The Yankees will open the 2020 season with a three-game set in the nation’s capital against the defending world champion Nationals.

Opening the season against Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg and Patrick Corbin will be a daunting task for the Bombers who, like every team, will likely see a rusty offense out of the gate.

These games should be highly competitive, but with the series coming in the season opener, the Nats are at an advantage.

Projected Record: 1-2

Yankees Final Projected Record: 40-20
