3. New York Mets
The Mets and Nationals are very similar, considering they both have an amazing rotation, a bad bullpen, and a strong offense. The Mets, led by Jacob deGrom, will be taking a hit with Noah Syndergaard out for the year with Tommy John Surgery. Having said that, a second full season of Pete Alonso will be exciting to watch, plus Jeff McNeil, Michael Conforto, and J.D. Davis towards the top of the lineup make for a strong offense. Oh yeah, and Jed Lowrie and Yoenis Cespedes are due back from injury, both of which are in a contract year.
