New York Yankees: Projecting The 2025 Opening Day Lineup

Oct 13, 2019; Houston, TX, USA; New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge (99) hits a two run home run off of Houston Astros starting pitcher Justin Verlander (not pictured) during the fourth inning in game two of the 2019 ALCS playoff baseball series at Minute Maid Park. Right Field: Aaron Judge (33)

The Yankees need to find a way to keep Aaron Judge healthy. Judge is the obvious choice to be the franchise’s next captain on and off the field.

When healthy, Judge has perhaps the best power bat in all of baseball but also is able to hit for a high average and post a high on-base percentage. He is also among the games’ top defensive outfielders despite his 6-foot-7 inch frame. If Judge avoids any serious injuries, he will be penciled in as the Yankees starting right fielder until he hangs up his cleats on his own terms.
