New York Yankees: Projecting The 2025 Opening Day Lineup

Left Field: Kyle Schwarber (32)

The Yankees have been linked to Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber for a long time and once he hits the open market after the 2021 season, it would be no surprise if he ends up in Pinstripes.

Schwarber has the left-handed power the Yankees have needed for several years and do not currently have in their heavy right-handed lineup. At age 32, he can play both some left field and rotate into the DH spot for New York in the future and provide a middle of the order bat to split up the wall of righties.
