Shortstop: Gleyber Torres (28)

Gleyber Torres is going to be a superstar at the MLB level for a long time. In two pro seasons, he’s already a two-time all-star and coming off a 2019 season that saw him hit .278 with 38 home runs and 90 RBIs.

Torres can play both shortstop and second base but will likely remain at short given the Yankees surplus of middle infield prospects that likely project to be better off at second. The Yankees must make a long-term deal with Torres, one of their main priorities as he is the best piece they have to build a franchise around.
