New York Yankees: Projecting The 2025 Opening Day Lineup

Third Base: Nolan Arenado (33)

Nolan Arenado and the Yankees are too perfect of a fit for a deal not to eventually come together. The five-time all-star and seven-time gold glove award winner is on a Cooperstown pace and is ready to get out of Colorado.

He will be eligible to opt-out of his eight-year, $260 million contract extension with the Rockies after 2021 and will almost surely take off. The Yankees cannot miss reeling him to man the hot corner for the future with Gio Ursehala still unproven outside of one season and Miguel Andujar still a big question mark.
