1. Aaron Judge Launches 495-foot Home Run (2017)
By June of 2017, Aaron Judge was already beginning to become a household name. One could argue, however, his June 11 home run against the Orioles earned him superstar status.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Judge stepped up to the plate with his team up 7-3 and destroyed a 495-foot home run that cleared the Yankee Stadium left-field bleachers.
The home run was his 20th of the season and to this day is the longest of his career. It was an absolute tape-measure shot that left everyone in the stadium speechless, including teammate Didi Gregorius.
However, with Judge’s power, it’s only a matter of time until he breaks his own personal record and sends one completely out of Yankee Stadium.
