Yankees: There’s No Need To Stress Over Recent Struggles

The Yankees have been scuffling quite a bit lately, causing many fans to go into panic mode, but there is no need to stress over their recent struggles.

As Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers once said: “R E L A X relax.” That should be the message for Yankees fans who have watched their team drop seven of their last 10 contests.

No, the Yankees aren’t playing good baseball. The starting pitching has been subpar, both Tommy Kanhle and Adam Ottaviano are struggling out of the bullpen, and the team has failed to pick up clutch hits late in games.

However, there’s no reason to panic. It’s safe to say the Yankees have overachieved this season. They sit well over .500 and in first place in the AL East despite sending 20 different players to the injured list.

Which Yankees Are Leading All-Star Game Voting?

Both Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton have been out since April, and the Bombers have still found ways to win games. It’s finally starting to catch up to them now, but it may just be at the perfect time.

The Yankees have three games left with a mediocre White Sox team and then head home for a crucial homestand in which the Rays and Astros will come to town. Stanton is due back Tuesday, and Judge could also return at some point during the homestand. Not to mention the team will be fired up for two massive tests.

The Yankees are 4-2 against a Rays team they lead by just a half a game atop the AL East. As for Houston, they will look to avenge a sweep they suffered at the hands of the Astros back in April.

There will be a lot on the line, but this Yankee team has proven time and time again, they answer the bell.

They’re getting healthier and healthier, and no one should panic. All team’s hit rough patches; it’s a long season. Be thankful it’s happening now for the Yankees rather than later.
