Yankees: Manny Machado Visits The Bronx (Photo)

The Yankees conducted a meeting with prized free agent infielder Manny Machado this afternoon in the Bronx and the details are surely intriguing.

The Manny Machado rumors have been the talk of the town lately in New York with everyone having their own opinion on the all-star infielder. He is considered a generational talent that the Yankees should not want to miss out on.

On Wednesday afternoon, Machado and his family took a trip to New York and had a meeting with the Yankees front office at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The Yankees sure made Machado feel at home in New York by plastering an image of him in a Yankees uniform on the center field scoreboard.

New York’s meeting with Machado lasted around 90 minutes, which is just about the right amount of time needed to discuss a potential deal. We are unaware of what we discussed in the meeting itself, but we could only assume that Machado fell in love with New York because who doesn’t?

It is widely known that Manny Machado grew up as a fan of the Yankees and it is a dream of his to put on the pinstripes. However, one does have to take into account whether that means more to him than a larger offer he might receive from a team like the Philadelphia Phillies.
