Ryan McBroom: (6-22, 2 R, 2 2B, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 1 BB) McBroom did most of his damage in the first three games of the week, collecting five of his six hits and driving in three.
Pitcher of the Week
Chance Adams: (7.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 10 SO) After a bumpy start to the year, Adams threw his most dominant game yet, a one-hitter against the IronPigs.

- Jonathan Loaisiga was placed on the DL with a blister and shouldn’t miss more than a start or two

Abiatal Avelino: (6-18, 5 R, 1 2B, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 3 BB) Avelino is my Thunder hitter of the week for the second straight time after another strong showing. He continues to show he shouldn’t be in Double-A but roster construction will keep him there for now.
Pitcher of the Week
Brian Keller: (8.0 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 4 SO) Yet another very strong outing from a Yankee’s minor league pitcher.

Alexander Palma: (5-17, 3 R, 1 RBI, 2 2B) There wasn’t too much hot hitting down in Tampa this week, possibly due to the fact that the Tarpons had four games postponed due to rain.

Garret Whitlock: (6.0 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 SO) Whitlock was dominant in his first game in Tampa after being promoted from Charleston.

Steven Sensley: (7-18, 4 R, 1 HR, 4 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB) Sensley is an interesting name to keep an eye on. He was drafted in the 12th round last year and posted a .954 OPS in 50 games in pro ball. He has gotten off to another good start, posting a .879 OPS so far this season.

JP Sears: (7.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO) Sears has pitched well so far in his first full season of pro-ball, posting a 1.52 ERA in five games started.
