Pitcher of the Week

News/Notes
Hitter of the Week

Abiatal Avelino(6-18, 5 R, 1 2B, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 3 BB) Avelino is my Thunder hitter of the week for the second straight time after another strong showing. He continues to show he shouldn’t be in Double-A but roster construction will keep him there for now.

Pitcher of the Week

Brian Keller(8.0 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 4 SO) Yet another very strong outing from a Yankee’s minor league pitcher.

Tampa Tarpons

News/Notes
Hitter of the Week

Alexander Palma(5-17, 3 R, 1 RBI, 2 2B) There wasn’t too much hot hitting down in Tampa this week, possibly due to the fact that the Tarpons had four games postponed due to rain.

Pitcher of the Week

Garret Whitlock: (6.0 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 SO) Whitlock was dominant in his first game in Tampa after being promoted from Charleston.
