The New York Yankees will look to continue the offensive onslaught and take the series from the Twins on Wednesday night.

After two games in which the Yankees outscored the Twins 22-4, the Bombers have an opportunity to win the four-game series on Wednesday night in the Bronx.
Winning at least of three of four against the Twins would be huge heading into a streak of games where the Yankees play the Angels, Astros, Indians and Red Sox, all in a row.
Sonny Gray will get the ball for the Yankees, looking to get back on track after two dismal starts in a row. Gray gave up six runs in Boston in just three innings pitched and gave up five runs in three and a third against the Jays after supposedly making “adjustments”
One thing to note is that Austin Romine will be catching Gray, opposed to Gary Sanchez. At this point, anything to have Gray as comfortable as possible on the mound is in the Yankees best interest.
On the mound for the Twins will be the 30-year-old right-hander, Lance Lynn. Lynn was acquired this offseason by the Twins and it’s been a mixed bag for him so far this season. Lynn has started three games, two in which he gave up five earned runs in each contest. His only good start came against the Astros in which he shut them out in five innings of work.
Lynn’s only career start against the Yankees came way back in 2014, when Lynn threw a complete game shutout in St. Louis.

Player To Watch
Giancarlo Stanton
I’m going to play the numbers game and pick Giancarlo Stanton as my player to watch. Stanton and Neil Walker are the only players with more than 10 at-bats against Lynn and Stanton has had some success.
In 17 at-bats, Stanton has five hits including a home run. Everytime Stanton seems to get going this year, it disappears very quickly. After a four for four night on Monday, Stanton went hitless last night.
Stanton has more familiarity with Lynn then everyone else in the lineup and maybe that will play to his advantage and get him going for good.
