After their worst loss to the Red Sox since 2009 on Tuesday night, the Yankees will head to Fenway Park on Wednesday night with vengeance in their eyes.
- New York Yankees (5-6)
- Boston Red Sox (9-1)

- Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts
The Yankees are coming fresh off their worst loss of the season to their rival Boston Red Sox. New York got pummeled in their first game of the season at Fenway Park, losing 14-1, with the bullpen absolutely imploding.
New York has had some pretty sad losses so far this season, but Tuesday night was by far the most dominating.
Masahiro Tanaka will take the mound for the Bronx Bombers on Wednesday night at Fenway looking to help the Yankees turn themselves around as quickly as possible.
Tanaka has had a fair amount of success over his past few starts at Fenway Park, only allowing six runs over his past 30 innings. The right-hander has also been impressive in his first two starts of the season despite crumbling late against Baltimore in his last start.
Going up against Tanaka will be Boston’s left-hander David Price, who has been the definition of dominant in his first two starts of the season. He is 1-0 and has not surrendered a single run over 14 innings.
However, Price has struggled in his career against New York no matter what team he is playing for. In 37 career starts against the Bombers, Price is 15-11 with a 4.36 ERA.
Hopefully, with their past history against the left-hander, the Yankees offense can wake up on Wednesday night and finally start to get things going.

Player To Watch
Wednesday night’s player to watch has to Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez, who has had an extremely slow start to the season, to say the least. However, Sanchez has impressive career numbers against Price and could mean tonight could be his first big game of the year.
In 11 career at-bats against Price, Sanchez is batting .455 with an eye-popping four home runs and nine RBIs. These are numbers that “El Kraken” will hold these numbers high over his head stepping into the batter’s box on Wednesday night.
Expect Sanchez to have his first big game of the season against Price and the Red Sox on Wednesday night.
