Giancarlo Stanton Launches Home Run In First Yankees At-Bat (Video)

The story couldn’t have been written even better. Giancarlo Stanton launched an opposite-field home run in his first career at-bat with the Yankees.

It’s safe to say that the Yankees 2018 season is off to a superb start, especially if you are Giancarlo Stanton. He has certainly lived up to the hype in his first at-bat with New York by absolutely crushing a two-run home run.

Stanton absolutely demolished the pitch from Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ to right-center field and even knew it when the ball left the bat.

If you were writing a story about the beginning of the 2018 season for the Yankees, odds are you would write that Giancarlo Stanton would homer in his first at-bat, and what do you know, it happened.

The reigning National League MVP will be a huge piece of the Yankees offense this season, literally. After obliterating National League East pitching last season with 59 home runs, Stanton has taken his talents to the American League East to attempt to do the same.

If his first at-bat has anything to do with what is set to come throughout the season, Yankees fans are surely in for a treat.
